Italian cuisine; ROMANO

Japanese people like to have Itarian foods very much.
Especially, in Tokyo, there are many Italian restaurants.
This time, Tokyo Geisha will introduce a Itailian restaurant ‟ROMANO” in Gotanda.
‟ROMANO” is near Gtanda Station.
On weekdays, many businessmen visit to have lunch at ‟ROMANO”.
But, on weekends, many family visit to have lunch there in stead of businessmen.
The lunch is big portion for Japanese people.
There are many customers who share various lunch sets after ordering round of lunch sets.


 
Tokyo Geisha ordered 2 prifix lunch courses.

cafe; Jubilee Coffee and Roaster

In Tokyo, new coffee shops have been increasing.
This time, Tokyo Geisha will introduce a coffee shop ‟Jubilee Coffee and Roaster” in Shiroganedai.
Shiroganedai is one of the high-class residential area.
‟Jubilee Coffee and Roaster” is near museum.


 
‟Jubilee Coffee and Roaster” is very modern cafe and clean.
Cofee beans are roasted every day at ‟Jubilee Coffee and Roaster”
Local people often come here to buy coffee beans.


 
At ‟Jubilee Coffee and Roaster”, coffee is made by hand-drip every time.
How to drip coffee is suited for coffee beans.
It takes about 15 minutes, but  the taste is nice.
 
 
Iced coffee with milk is made with time and care.
The taste is mild in taste.

Sushi; 千種鮨(chigusazushi)


Sushi is loved by japanese people in Japan.
This time, Tokyo Geisha will introduce a sushi restaurant ‟chigusazushi” which is a local restaurant in Meguro.
‟Chigusazushi”  is one of the sushi restaurant which is love by regular customers in Meguro.


The interior decorating is like japanese old style's house.

 
Lunch menu; Sushi set for 1portion, Sushi set for 1.5 portion, Scattered Sushi for 1 portion, Large helping of Scatterd Sushi, tuna rolled in rice and seaweed, today's Sushi

 
‟Hot green tea”

 
Sushi's sashimi will be changed by purchase.
Today's Sushi set for 1.5 portion; tuna, octopus, squid, boiled shrimp, horse mackerel,sea bream, sweet baked eggs ...
The skilled sushi chaf makes sushi wholeheartedly every time.
If you don't like wasabi (japanese masterd), you have to order it without wasabi in advance.

Washoku; 自然薯(jinenjo)

In Washoku, there are various foods.
This time, Tokyo Geisha will introduce a local food's restaurant ‟jinenjo”  in Ebisu.
 ‟Jinenjo”  provides foods from Hiroshima Prefecture.
Speaking of Hiroshima Prefecture, japanese sake, oyster and okonomiyaki are very famous.
 ‟Jinenjo” provides japanese yam (jinenjo).



 
‟pork saute, a egg, miso soup, rice cooked with barley, grated japanese yam, japanese pickle”
  
 

 
When Japanese people have rice with grated jinenjo(jinenjo is one of the japanese yam), they often have rice cooked with barley.
Japanese yama and rice cooked with barley are good combination.
These are good for health.

 
Especilly, jinenjo is good for health.
Compare to other yam, jinenjo is more expensive.Because it takes time to grow up.

Ramen; 纏(matoi)

In Shinbashi, there are many ramen shops.
Ramen is affordable for businessmen, they often have a ramen for lunch or supper.
This time, Tokyo Geisha will introduce a ramen shop ‟matoi”.

 
Before people know it, they almost cross the shop.
‟Matoi” is a small shop,there are few seats at the bar.

 
‟Signboard sign saying that rich chicken taste's raman without soup , white soup cooked by dried squid and chicken ” 
 
 
 
 
にほんいち醤油(Nihonichi soy sauce) is used in 特製烏賊干鶏白湯醤油そば.
The company that makes Nihonichi soy sauce is established in 1787.
It is said that using dried squid is difficult because of having unique flavor, Nihonichi soy sauce is used for the taste better.
 

平子煮干しそば (+長ねぎと煮卵)
‟Ramen with dried fish soup (+ green onion and a boiled egg)”

 
特製烏賊干鶏白湯醤油そば
‟ramen with white soup cooked by chicken and dried squid”

 
The soup cooked by dried squid is rich taste and nice.


Char sir is cooked made of chicken.

 
Squid legs

 
The noodles is crunchy.
The noodles and the soup are good combination.
