Yoshoku; ぱいち(paichi)

Have your ever eaten Yoshoku?
Yoshoku is western food arranged by Japanese style.
In Edo period, some Yoshoku restaurants were established due to effect of the opening of a country.
Nowadays, Yoshoku has been evoloving. There are many kinds of Yoshoku like japanese curry rice, deepfried shrimps, humberg in Japan.
This Time Tokyo Geisha will introduce Yoshoku restaurant ‟paichi” in Asakusa.
Asakusa is well known to foreiners as sightseeing place.
In Asakusa, there are some shrines ,old restaurants, old cafe.
‟Paichi” was established in 1936. The chef is third generation.


 
At ‟Paichi”, the atmosphere is nostalgic.

Deep fried fish is nice and crispy. The taste is light tasting.
Humberg is juicy in the middle.

At ‟paichi” beef stew is very famous. The chef is trying to keep the second generation's taste.
